Emma & Noah's Romantic Spring Wedding at Twin Gables in Southwest Michigan

May 9, 2026, brought something everyone had been waiting for—sunshine! After weeks of cold temperatures and rain, Emma and Noah couldn't have asked for a better spring day to celebrate their wedding at Twin Gables Event Center in Sturgis, Michigan.

As plant lovers, Emma and Noah knew they wanted greenery to play a big part in their wedding. From the ferns lining their outdoor ceremony walkway to the greenery and candlelight at their reception, their choices brought a personal touch to every space.

And with family and friends ready to celebrate, their day was filled with meaningful moments, live ceremony music, and plenty of dancing.

A Spring Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Twin Gables

Emma and Noah's love of plants was reflected throughout their outdoor ceremony. Lush ferns lined the wooden walkway, while flowing white drapery and greenery complemented the ceremony setting.

After weeks of chilly, rainy Michigan weather, the sunshine couldn't have been more welcome. Family and friends gathered for a heartfelt ceremony, with live music from singer and pianist Anita Bohn adding a personal touch.

The natural greenery, soft white details, and beautiful spring weather came together in a ceremony that felt elegant without being overly formal.

Thoughtful Details from Emma & Noah's Wedding

Emma and Noah's love of plants inspired so many of the details throughout their wedding day. Rather than choosing elaborate decorations, they incorporated greenery, soft white flowers, and natural textures that complemented the setting at Twin Gables.

Their navy blue and deep green color palette carried through the wedding attire, flowers, and reception décor. Emma carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas and greenery, while Noah wore a blue suit with a floral-patterned tie.

There were meaningful personal touches, too. An embroidered handkerchief reading “Forever your little girl,” personalized cufflinks, and a beautifully arranged dessert display added details that were special to their celebration.

At the reception, floating candles, greenery, and gold accents brought everything together without taking away from the natural beauty of the space.

A Beautiful Spring Wedding Reception at Twin Gables

After the ceremony, Emma and Noah's celebration continued inside the reception hall at Twin Gables. The vaulted ceilings provided a beautiful backdrop for their greenery-inspired décor, with floating candles, soft white flowers, and gold accents bringing warmth to the tables.

The dessert display featured a wedding cake alongside individual cheesecakes, adding another personal touch to the reception.

Emma and Noah wanted their guests to have a wonderful time, especially once the dancing began. DJ Adam Freeman kept the celebration going, and the dance floor was full of family and friends enjoying the evening together.

Before the night ended, the newlyweds stepped outside for photographs beneath the illuminated covered entrance—a lovely way to capture the end of their wedding day.
